Guided by our long and strong friendships, some individual representatives of our Rotary Club bought and delivered powerful and professional chainsaws for the needs of the war-affected Tsirkuny community in the Kharkiv region. These saws were handed over to the head of the Tsirkuny community Mr. Mykola Sikalenko, and specific areas of prospective cooperation between our club and this community were also discussed. One of the key ideas to be done is the newest gymnasium which would be aimed at gifted children of Kharkiv city and would become the ideological core of the post-war recovery of the Tsirkuny community.

The saws are already working successfully and helping local aged residents to get through this heating period and overcome the difficult post-war period.
