Humanitarian aid and volunteering

  • Since the beginning of the 2022 war, our members have actively helped the residents of the hero city of Kharkiv, the temporarily occupied and affected communities of Kharkiv region and Kyiv region.
  • Risking our lives under shelling in 2022, we brought in clothes and medicine, helped to restore heating and computerization, and restored the provision of administrative services to the local population and temporarily displaced persons.
  • We are indebted to our fellow Rotarians from other European countries, who, through our fellow club members, provide humanitarian and medical aid to Ukrainian communities, thereby trusting us.
  • Despite the war, our members continued to actively support children – both in education and in the arts through patronage support of the Kharkiv children’s theater “Children of the Future”.
  • The special focus of our attention is the indomitable Tsirkuny community, which is one of the most affected in the Kharkiv region. We believe that after our victory, this community will truly blossom and become an exemplary ‘magnet’ for young and educated people and responsible entrepreneurs.
