MACRo
«MACRo»: what is it?
This is a complex interdisciplinary program for the development of territories in Ukraine and Europe, which are interested in becoming new drivers of cultural revival and renewal of their national cultural matrix based on the reproduction of internal potential. To build a pan-European networking humanitarian and economic ecosystem of services for the formation of a human of the 21st century into it based on the best cultural and humanitarian assets of Western and Eastern European culture and advanced technological solutions with some localizations in culturally and economically strong communities-“oases” of Ukraine and the European Union.
What is the main thing we want to do?
The core is services for the young person within the ecosystem and an accessible and fair way of providing them 24/7. For Myrhorod city and Ukraine as a whole, this will be organized for the sake of children (number – about 100 people) aged 9-14 who suffered from the war, who lost their homes and parents – to give them the opportunity to continue their education for 3-4 years the best world standards in Ukraine and, most importantly, to reveal their abilities and inclinations for the future educational and career trajectory.
At this stage, two key features of our approach are implemented:
- comprehensive educational training based on the values and culture that are traditional for this area, and
- tokenization of life-long learning and professional development for the formation of the greatest human and social capital and its online tracking.
Educational training in the Project takes place in the format of boarding schools (or of resort hotel) and with the use of advanced and the highest educational methods for children and youth and, of course, the latest technical means.
It is imperative that a hundred of selected young people could locally live in conditions as close as possible to family ones, at least with their closest relatives, be brought up in a family and be able to feel family care as much as possible, which is extremely important for a 21st century Human.
Our Rotary Club helps to establish and maintain inter-municipal connections between small cities of Ukraine and the EU and fill them with “smart” infrastructure and digital services.
Why MACRO?
Regularly, the logic of any “macro” is fundamentally based on two ideas: a certain “starting point’ as a point of initial reference, and a “large scale”. Conceptually, our “starting point” is a human whose socially-useful abilities can be significantly developed, and then, a community of such people can be developed to a macro and, perhaps, to a Euro-continental scale. Using all local advantages and network interaction, local “points” can give a total macro effect and contribute to education and self-realization of the 21st century Human based on rich European culture and values, at least Christian ones.
