A member of our club and a well-known Ukrainian businessman and philanthropist Taras Ohiychuk, together with the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Italy Marko Tason and the mayor of the city of Padua (Veneto region) successfully presented our club “Kharkiv-Renaissance” to the Rotarians of the city of Padua. The current mayor of the city of Padua took part in the event (https://www.padovanet.it/).

We are grateful to the honorable Mark Tason for facilitating this event and inviting some official representatives and media of the city of Padua. Almost 20 local Rotarians and the local press attended the event in fact.

One of the key issues of the meeting is the cooperation of volunteers and the continuation of material humanitarian support from caring residents and Rotarians of Padua for the affected communities of the Kharkiv region. Based on the results of this event, another truckload of humanitarian aid is being prepared for Ukraine, which will be delivered and distributed by the funds and efforts of our Rotary Club members at the end of March 2023.

We invite other cities of Western Europe to cooperate with our members. Our club is ready to offer interesting and innovative bilateral and multilateral cooperation programs, at the center of which are new human-centric services and digital ecosystems.
