On July 15, 2023, Rotary District 2232 held a wide-scale training in working with the resources of the international Rotary Foundation – in particular, working with grant programs. Special emphasis was placed on the global grants program. The almost 4-hour seminar was conducted by the best and most competent representatives of District 2232 – Mark Gitelman (head of the D2232 Rotary Education Committee), Bohdan Svidoviy, Olga Novytska, Mykola Steblyanko. According to the Rotary International’s rules, this seminar and successful passing of tests are one of the mandatory conditions for receiving funding from the international Rotary Foundation.
Three representatives of our Rotary-club “Kharkiv-Renaissance” – club president Oleh Tuiev, Oleksandr Lyubchenko and Igor Dunayev – have completed this mandatory seminar and passed some tests required.
Now our Rotary Club has a much better chance of successfully preparing its grant proposals and submitting them to receive funding from the international Rotary Foundation.
