Our Rotary Club became a member of the Luxembourg-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce

Since its foundation in January 2023, our Rotary Club is committed to expanding its international connections and networking. Due to the presence of business contacts in the academic and business environment of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, in mid-February 2023, our Center applied for corporate membership in the Ukrainian-Luxembourg Business Club (ULBK), which was re-registered as the Luxembourg-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce in February (https://ulbc.lu/).

This Club was created in 2017 with the aim of supporting and developing relations between Ukrainian and Luxembourg businessmen. Among other things, the activities of ULBK are aimed at expanding the network of contacts of club members, developing their business skills, promoting leading enterprises, providing access to useful information and recommendations on effective business conduct in both countries, organizing economic and cultural programs, seminars and forums on current business issues, key trading points, trends and opportunities, as well as other events in Ukraine and Luxembourg.

One of the largest and most significant initiatives organized by ULBC was the business forum “Rapid Recovery of Ukraine 2023”, which took place on January 23, 2023. The prime ministers of the two countries, the vice-prime minister of Ukraine for European integration, several ministers, heads of agencies and large enterprises took part in this forum (https://ulbc.lu/business-forum-rapid-recovery-of -ukraine-2023/).

Having become a member of ULBK and Luxembourg-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, our Rotary-club aims to widely offer club members new ideas on shaping & development of the latest digital human-centric ecosystems, which, without a doubt, has a huge potential in the next 20 years. It is in these niches that our leading members (for example, professor Igor Dunayev) are experts and bearers of valuable knowledge. In this context, our Rotary Club is preparing the concept of a unique new “EkoDovira” gymnasium for children as a proposal for the partner Tsirkuniv community from the Kharkiv region. And also, actively cooperating with other capable organizations and municipalities in Ukraine and Europe, our club will fill with concrete initiatives the Plan for the rapid recovery of Ukraine and the native Kharkiv region from 2023-2024 and digital inter-municipal cooperation between small cities of Ukraine, Luxembourg and other European cities (network interaction).

We hope for a long and fruitful cooperation with the Luxembourg-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce.
