Solving real problems takes real commitment and vision. For more than 110 years, Rotary’s people of action have used their passion, energy, and intelligence to take action on sustainable projects. The purpose of Rotary is to encourage and promote the ideals of service as a foundation for worthy enterprise, in particular to promote:
- developing networks of acquaintances as opportunities for service;
- high ethical standards in business and professional activity; recognition of the importance of all useful professions; recognition of the occupation of each Rotarian as an opportunity for service to society;
- applying the ideals of service in the personal, business and public life of each Rotarian;
- improvement of international mutual understanding, goodwill and peace through a global brotherhood of business people and professionals united by the ideal of service.
